Buying Commercial / information
How we rank agencies
Agencies qualify when they are based in Australia, act for buyers in the commercial acquisitions listed here and publish a dedicated commercial buying page. Agencies that run their own property sale campaigns are excluded. Vendor advocacy, divestment advice and selling-agent selection are disclosed in the agency notes.
Agencies based in Western Australia are not listed yet because the WA licence register does not permit commercial use.
The default order
Agencies are sorted by the commercial acquisitions they disclose on their own sites. A record must describe a completed client purchase and name an asset type and a suburb or city. Illustrative scenarios and owner-side outcomes are excluded. Region-only descriptions are excluded.
Within each agency, an unpriced record is dropped when a priced record at the same suburb exists. Unpriced records sharing an asset type and suburb are counted once. Each agency has its own disclosure count. Related firms can describe overlapping acquisitions; their relationship and overlap are shown in both rows. We do not claim these are independent transactions.
Ties break on Google review count, then agency name. The Grant Group follows the same ordering. A user can change the sort. Fee sorting groups published models and does not compare percentages with dollar fees.
What each field means
Fees and purchase minimums come from agency pages or published terms. “Not published” means no figure was found in those pages. A partly published fee stays partly published; an unknown engagement fee or commission is never treated as zero.
Google ratings and review counts come from DataForSEO Google Business Profile results matched by domain. Unavailable results remain unavailable. There is no review or rating structured data for agencies.
Licence checks use NSW Verify, Consumer Affairs Victoria or Queensland Fair Trading. Identity is matched through a published licence number, ABN or ACN, a matching register business name, or a named principal with one current matching holder. Individual principal licences are labelled. “Not found on register” means the recorded search did not locate a match; it does not state that the agency is unlicensed.
Sources and refresh
Each record links to its source and check date. Open the comparison or an agency's source records to inspect it. Data is checked monthly. Records older than 45 days fail validation. A date changes only when that record is checked again.
Thin agency pages with no disclosed acquisition and no published fee remain available to readers, but are noindex and excluded from the sitemap.
